does anyone know when the watchtower society stopped believing that they arrived at 1874 and 1914 as results of russels measurements of the pyramid ?.
how long was it that they believed their pyramid idea before they used their twisted bible dates to 'prove' that jesus's enthronement wasn't based on a pyramid measurement?.
I don't know but if they used the same pattern they use today, they just quietly never mentioned a pyramid again and released the 607 chronology as if it was something they knew all along. Then again, it seems like back then (whenever it was) Rutherford and later Franz liked to release info at conventions as a sort of revelation, so perhaps it was done that way, too.

let me explain a little about what i do each day...... i work for a company that arranges trusts in the cook islands, turks & caicos, panama, etc.
i know that blondie is against what i am about to say, but i do not just believe that the wts have a variety of trusts in various jurisdictions around the world......i am absolutely positive they do.. .
i personally look after 14 trusts.
This has been sort of mentioned but I think it is too important to allow sitting as a sidebar: This isn't the Governing Body doing this. It is the company heads and their employees. The GB may not even know anything about it.

Not extraordinary, but I have benefitted from help from JW strangers while running into difficulty traveling. It's no different from being able to call a fraternity brother anywhere in the world, though.
at the last two meetings i have been to, two brothers mentioned in their parts that we have a personal responsibility to turn in someone we know who is involved in wrongdoing.
they both said we need to do this out of love and because we could also lose our own relationship with jehovah if we fail to do so.
it struck how odd this all is.

i signed up for a mindfulness course regarding chronic pain.
we were 16 people and 3 leaders in a huge room.

Yes, exactly. I don't know if the Cafe is one of those groups because I haven't visited, but I have heard of some Dub FB groups that have required its members to have a mention of Jehovah on their personal FB page as a requisite for membership.

As far as them kicking people off as soon as they sign up, is this one of the groups that requires its members to mention being a JW on their personal FB page? If so, they can just check that easily and if it isn't there, boot you.
